NBI and Rise Global Foundation are keen to promote Tulsk as a shining example of a BCP that is more a remote working facility but also a facility that is a great resource for a vibrant rural community like Tulsk and the surrounding areas.

Tulsk Broadband Connection Point (BCP) also referred to as Tulsk Digiwest Hub at unit number 1, Meadow Brook Tulsk. It is one of ten BCPs in county Roscommon and was originally set-up in 2020/2021 with a microwave dish connection to a nearby NBI mast.

The facility now operates superfast fixed line fibre broadband and has individual Hot-desks for remote working, another two hybrid desks in a room that are easily set-up as a meeting / conference room and 3 private offices, all available to book per day or for extended periods through an online booking platform.

Tulsk BCP is also a #Digiwest facility, is also on the Western Development Commission (WDC) Connected Hubs platform and is being added to the new DRCD (Department of Rural and Community Development) Connected Communities website and platform.

Patricia Brady is the manager of the entire complex which has the BCP, an incubation Hub in the centre of building where an Accountancy firm has residency and a busy Laundrette at the front of the building. This announcement is due recognition of a facility that operates at a very high level and aspires to do even more for its community!
